I have just had the realization that two of my most favorite songs involve a mandolin. I have loved one longer than the other, but the love for both is equal.
The first one is Losing My Religion by R.E.M. I love pretty much everything this band did, and the fact that I have to refer to them in the past-tense still makes me a bit sad.
The second one is Black Cab by Jens Lekman. Thanks to a video of James Franco painting a large canvas, I heard this song. It plays in the background, and I fell in love with the guitar part instantly.
Hope you enjoy these if you listen!
